The League of Women Voters of Berkeley Heights, New Providence and Summit will be offering a program entitled "Reporting the News 2019: An Evening with Stefanie Murray" to be held on Thursday, Sept 26th at 7:30pm at the DeCorso Community Center, 15 East 4th Street, New Providence. The public is invited.  There is no charge.

How does your favorite news source rate on the "truth" scale?  Do we read or hear statements of fact that are both correct and in context?

Stefanie Murray is the Director of the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair state university.  A Michigan native, Stefanie previously worked in Michigan and Tennessee as a reporter, editor, digital media manager and editor. She worked at Gannett Company and executive editor of the Tennesseean. She also worked for the Detroit Free Press.
