BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - A "Game Day" box of treats was delivered to the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Fire Department thanks to the Silver Liming Foundation.
"We are lucky to have these dedicated individuals who continue to help our community during this challenging time," Laurie Liming, founder of Silver Liming Foundation, had told TAPinto Berkeley Heights.
Silver Liming Foundation also delivered diapers and formula to a young mom who is in chemo. "Her baby is seven months old," said Liming. "We’ve also been providing meals for a resident who has Coronavirus. Last weekend we went around on foot delivering gourmet pretzels to residents." The pretzels were donated by Anything Floral prior to closing per state mandated order to close all non-essential businesses.
"We have also been mailing cheerful notes to high school students while they are adjusting to their new reality," Liming added. "Bouquets of sunflowers were delivered to many of our friends who are homebound with compromised immune systems."
“Every single person in our community has been impacted by the COVID-19 restrictions. Spending time with our loved ones, homeschooling while working from home, may have its own set of challenges. But everybody can do something to spread kindness, even from home,” she said.
Silver Liming foundation continues to encourage all of you to make a difference in the life of your friends, community, and even strangers. For more information visit www.silverliming.org
