BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Surveyors will be acquiring additional survey and drainage information to continue the ongoing drainage study in the area of Orchard Lane, Mercier, etc. on March 27th, 30th and 31st (weather permitting). Properties along Orchard Lane, Deepdale Drive, Mountain Avenue, Kings Court, Oakland Street, Cornell Avenue, Hillcrest Avenue, Arden Court, Sawmill Drive, Hamilton Avenue, Rogers Place, and Plainfield Avenue may observe my field crew working within easement areas, or watercourse areas, which traverse such properties.
In addition, on or about, Monday, March 30, 2020, the milling and paving phase on Rutgers Ave, Hamilton Ave and Princeton Ave, is scheduled to begin by Top Line Construction.
The work for this phase is expected to take 5 working days to complete, weather permitting, with working hours of 7 AM to 5 PM. During these hours, the roads will remain open to traffic but will be limited to alternating traffic in work zones. Furthermore, driveways will become inaccessible at times and street parking will be strictly prohibited during working hours. As a result, it is recommended to park vehicles on an adjacent street while work is taking place.
For everyone’s safety, we urge you to use caution when driving in the work zones and to be aware of equipment operating in the roadway. Please allow a few extra minutes for potential delays caused by the construction.
