BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The residents of Autumn Lake Healthcare at Berkeley Heights enjoyed an abundance of holiday cheer this year thanks to visits from the local Daisies, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, dance studios, church choirs and many others that stopped by to entertain or share a gift and simply spread joy.
The holiday season is made more special for the residents because of fun activities that included decorating their own gingerbread houses, sing alongs, and performances. -- Even Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special visit during Autumn Lake's holiday party with entertainer Bob Marino, who kept the room engaged with the help of the enthusiastic staff singing and clapping along to Feliz Navidad and dancing to the polka.
Autumn Lake Healthcare was also a drop off location for a pajama and book drive. With each visit, whether it was to drop off a donation or provide a gift for a resident or delivering baked goods, it was noticed and appreciated by the staff. "We are beyond blessed with an awesome staff, adorable residents, amazing families and the best community," said Cathy Balsamo of Autumn Lake. "Thank you all for all you do to make Autumn Lake Healthcare at Berkeley Heights such a special place."
