NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Heather Hoffman, owner of Luminous MedSpa Salon in New Providence welcomed Teresa Giudice, of The Real Housewives of New Jersey to sign copies of her latest book, Standing Strong, all to raise money for her Reborn Foundation.

Giudice, the veteran cast member and indisputable star of eight seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, arrived promptly at 7 p.m. to Luminous MedSpa on Central Avenue.  The salon already had a very long line of people out the door and onto the sidewalk, all holding copies of her book and waiting for a chance to meet her.

Dana Zika, a teacher from Kenilworth, was the first to get her book signed by Giudice. She was there with her son, Aiden. “He watches the show with me. He started watching two years ago and he likes to watch the daughters and their activities, we’re Italian and we enjoy watching her with her parents,” said Zika. Zika was just one of over 200 fans who waited in line to get a chance to meet the reality star and author.

Giudice chatted with each fan, laughing and taking pictures and selfies with all who came to see her. She stayed well past the posted ending time, signing every book and mingling with guests until well after 10:30 p.m.

Hoffman and Giudice met at the salon, “Teresa’s my client, she gets her treatments here and we were talking about how I have a foundation, Reborn, and she graciously offered to do this event for us to raise money for a family that lost their son.” Hoffman had been chatting with the reality star about her Reborn Foundation, “It came up one day about helping this family and she immediately said ‘absolutely’. She’s an amazing person,” said Hoffman.

Sue Ritter of The Reborn Foundation explained, “We get nominations, and we choose someone who needs a little boost. We give them a day of beauty, if they need their hair done, or just need a day away; we’ve been doing this for over a year.”

Hoffman was thankful for all the support she received for the event and for her foundation, “We all had so much fun while raising money for a family in need. It is what Luminous MedSpa and Salon is all about, we need to thank our absolutely amazing, beautiful, client Teresa Giudice, for donating her time to give back to a family in need.” She also thanked her staff, Dr. Richard Maggio and all those who donated to make the event possible.

Luminous MedSpa has organized it’s first New Providence’s 1st Bridal Event Expo this Monday, May 14, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Best Western Inn 535 Central Ave New Providence. It is free and open to the public.
