As the kids settle into another school year this September, we highlight 104 year old Anna Calabrese, born on February 27, 1915 in her home. Anna was one of six siblings, five girls and one boy.

She remembers starting school in September 1920 and her last day of school was June 1928.

Anna had to leave school after 8th grade to work in a sewing factory to help her mother pay the bills.

She never had a sewing lesson, but sewed her children's clothes and continued to sew clothes and Halloween costumes for her grandchildren.

"At the age of 104, my goal this year is to KEEP LIVING!" ~ Anna Calabrese
