BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - In response to several inquiries related to the Berkeley Heights annual bulk pickup program, the Township released the following update on the Township website:
We have received a number on inquiries related to our annual bulk pickup program. The Mayor and Council have worked hard to preserve this service in light of the potential financial hardship our municipality may be facing in the dawn of COVID-19 crisis. The Council anticipates voting on the award of the service at its April 28th meeting. Accordingly, we are planning on the following tentative schedule and ask that your materials are NOT left at the curbside until the appropriate time. We also request that residents pay their taxes in a timely fashion, if able, so that bulk pickup can be sufficiently funded:
May 4th, 5th section 2
May 7th ,8th section 3
May 11th, 12th, section 4
May 14th, 15th section 5
May 18th, 19th section 1
You can look up your section and can view a breakdown of sections by road list here.
Thank you for your patience as we try to navigate the uncertainty COVID19 has had on our Township’s finances and our future.
