SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Fanwood resident Al Mirabella's search for an apartment in the Eternal City aired on HGTV's hit show, "House Hunters", on Wednesday, Feb. 20. 

The show documents the journey of Scotch Plains Township Manager and Union County Freeholder Mirabella, along with his wife, Phyllis, and son, Alex, as they visit daughter Mikayla, who is studying at John Cabot University in Rome. The episode is entitled: "Come Home to Rome," and starts with scenes filmed in Fanwood before the family and crew head to Italy.

The family looks at three different apartments so that they can have a place to stay when they visit Mikayla. Find out if they choose the small one nearby, the big one that is more costly, or the less expensive one that is farther away from the university. Find out which one they choose...
