BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Police Department and PBA 144 organized a Memorial Day "Drive By Salute" to the local Veterans in memory of our fallen service members.

With the absence of the Memorial Day parade and public ceremony to honor our fallen soldiers, the Berkeley Heights Police Department and PBA 144 organized Operation: We Remember 2020 to remember the fallen by honoring the living.

On Monday, the caravan of police vehicles lined up outside the Berkeley Heights Police Department headquarters to begin the parade to honor the living servicemen within the township as part of Operation: We Remember 2020.

The police officers stopped at veterans' homes to perform a "Drive By Salute." The Police Color Guard displayed the colors while the officers lined up to render the hand salute during the playing of Taps.
