NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Faith Lutheran in New Providence invites all to participate in its online liturgical services on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter.  The link for the services is

The following services will be held: 

  • Holy Thursday, will be held at 7 p.m., April 1, on the theme of A Servant’s Call;
  • Good Friday, at 7 p.m., April 2, on the theme of Transforming Faith
  • Easter Celebration, will be held at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 4. The Lighting of the Paschal Candle Liturgy will take place in Faith’s Memorial Garden;
  • Festival Easter Celebration, will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, April 4, “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today.

The festival liturgy will be led by Faith’s pastor, Rev. Jane McCready.  Assisting her with the liturgy is Sally Reier, Ministry Associate of Faith.  Also participating in the service is Rev. Dr.  Robert Kriesat, Pastoral Associate of Faith. The subject of Rev. McCready’s sermon will be “Living Faith.”

The music of the festival liturgy is directed by Shea Velloso, Minister of Music of Faith.

The hymns are, “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today” and “The Day of Resurrection.”  

Faith’s Sanctuary Choir will sing an anthem.  Faith’s Bell Ringers will play.
