BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Police Athletic League and Berkeley Heights Youth Soccer Club have joined forces to sponsor the Friends of Berkeley Heights Recreation Commission first in-town basketball tournament – Heights March Mania.  The tournament will be a bracket challenge style with 3 vs 3 or 5 vs 5 games, depending on participation.  Games will be played in Columbia Middle School blue and gold gyms or outside on the courts at Lower Columbia--if weather permits.  Registration includes a t-shirt and a minimum of 2 games for each team.  Registration will close on March 20th so teams and schedules can be put together.

The Friends of Berkeley Heights Recreation Commission is a 501c3 (non-profit organization) formed under the Recreation Commission to raise funds for field improvements.  The goal is to provide all residents in town with a new synthetic turf field at Lower Columbia.  100% of the proceeds raised will go towards the Turf Lower Columbia (TLC) project.
