BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- Bloomfield Township will be hosting “Let’s Talk About Race,” the third in a series of community conversations about race, on Wednesday, July 29 at 7:00pm via Zoom.

“We wanted to give the community a safe space to have these conversations,” said Councilwoman Jenny Mundell, who will co-moderate the online event.

The evening’s discussion will be focused on the social construction of race and its real life implications. The guest speakers will be Dr. Wendy Christensen, Associate Professor, Sociology at William Paterson University, and Desyra Highsmith Holcomb, the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Clara Maass Medical Center. Dr. Wartyna Davis, PhD, Councilwoman at Large, will co-moderate the conversation along with Mundell.
