BEDMINSTER, NJ -- Four Trump Truck parades originating in four separate parts of the area converged Saturday morning on their way to a massive rally in support of the president in Bedminster, according to organizers.

Trump Truck parades have grown in popularity since the end of summer; an October 11 parade that began in Flemington followed Route 31 before taking Route 206 north, passing through Princeton, Montgomery, Hillsborough, Somerville and Bridgewater before arriving for a rally in Bedminster, a few miles from Trump National Golf Club, visited frequently by the president since he was elected in 2016.  Another Trump Truck parade took place on October 24, originating in Mountainside and followed Route 22 west to Route 202 north.

There were four staging areas for this weeks’ parades which were located in Parsippany, Mountainside, Flemington and the Somerset Shopping Center just off the circle at 395 Route 28, with vehicles ranging from tractor trailers and pick-up trucks to SUVs and motor homes.  Vehicles arrived by 9 a.m. at each of the locations and hit the road around 10 a.m.

Drivers were encouraged to park and join the rally at the corner of Lamington Road and Route 206 when they arrived at their final destination.  Helen Lawler, who observed the parade and rally from the Affinity Credit Union parking lot said, “It was like a pep rally. Very positive vibe and it stretched down 206 to the corporate center. Many passersby honked and waved at the crowd.”
