WEST ORANGE, NJ – The 18th annual Taste of Essex, hosted by the North Essex Chamber of Commerce (NECC), aims to be better than ever this year with dozens of restaurants participating, special activities, such as chair massages and a 50-50 drawing, as well as prizes for best savory and sweet dishes at The Manor in West Orange on April 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The evening will also include entertainment, courtesy of Any Excuse for a Party! Of Fairfield, Magician David Corsaro, The Creativity Caravan, Musician Tom Pimpinelli, Elements Massage of Nutley and Maxum Cigars.
Taste of Essex showcases dozens of Essex County restaurants, as well as spirits purveyors, all in one location. It is an opportunity for restaurants to promote their offerings and grow their business and for attendees to sample food from a variety of restaurants across the county.
“Essex County continues to grow as a popular dining destination,” said Michael Daniels, president of the NECC. “We hope that people will join us for what promises to be an exciting evening of outstanding food and much more.”
The cuisine at the Taste of Essex will include Mexican, Italian, Asian, Brazilian, Greek, American, Irish pub food and lots more. Awards will be presented for the best savory and sweet cuisine.
Tickets for the 2018 Taste of Essex are $40 for chamber members and $50 for non-members if paid by April 8, or $80 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking HERE.

A portion of the proceeds from the Taste of Essex will go toward the North Essex Chamber Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to high school seniors in Essex County.
