BLOOMFIELD NJ - 08/14/2016- Enyer Almonte-Sanchez age 19 of Newark was arrested at 5:25am and charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. The victim a 27 year old male, was stabbed by his girlfriend’s exboyfriend later identified as Enyer Almonte-Sanchez. The victim traveling on Bloomfield Ave with his girlfriend, was rammed by the suspect disabling his vehicle. The suspect exited his vehicle walking over and stabbing the victim in his left flank. The suspect then forced his exgirlfriend into his vehicle fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to University Hospital for his injuries. The suspect along with the ex-girlfriend were later located at the New Jersey State Police Bloomfield Barracks. Police had received several 911 calls on a male hitting a female inside a vehicle on the NJ State Parkway. Mr. Sanchez was charged accordingly with bail set at $500,000.00 dollars. The knife used in the attack was recovered inside Mr. Sanchez’s vehicle.
