BLOOMFIELD, NJ-- The Bloomfield Fire Department battled a second alarm fire today at an office building on Broadacres Drive. The call came in at approximately 1205 p.m. and the scene was clear by 130 p.m. 

A fire department official stated that the fire started on the fourth floor of the office building. Firefighters were seen carrying hose and tools into the building and extended a ladder to the roof as well. 
 

Belleville, East Orange and Montclair provided mutual aid to Bloomfield by covering the town while they were extinguishing the fire. No injuries were reported.
