Big Hix turned Wooden Spoon's Oktoberfest into Southern 'Rock-toberfest' in Bloomfield Center

BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Big Hix, the country music tribute band, grabbed the mics at the Wooden Spoon's 'Oktoberfest Parking Lot Party' for a four hour set that started at 4 p.m.

The band consists of full time performers who cover today's country hits including the songs made famous by Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, and Miranda Lambert.

The 'Oktoberfest Parking Lot Party' offers a unique take on the fall holiday feast that  reflects the character of the Bloomfield Renaissance: combining tradition and contemporary desires. Brats and beers are available at the outdoor Biergarten and customers can also order from the restaurant's al la carte menu at the same time.

Wooden Spoon had their formal ribbon cutting on Thursday. Details about the official grand opening and Oktoberfest will follow soon.

Reader More Offended by Comments Against President, than Cheeky Cow Logo

December 11, 2017

Compared to a cartoonish image of a cow with a big butt‎, I'm much more offended by Ms. Tingle's baseless smear of the President of the United States as a "sexual predator." I assume because she didn't name him and he's a public figure, it's OK to publish what otherwise would be considered libel.

Ironically, although what Ms. Tingle wrote is likely ...
