PATERSON, NJ- The public is invited to participate in the first annual Firefighter Kerry “Spider” Rivera Memorial Bike Ride on Saturday.

The approximately three-mile ride in honor of the fallen firefighter will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Mary Ellen Kramer Park, pause at Paterson Fire Headquarters for a tree planting in Rivera’s honor, and circle back to the Great Falls. The ride will be escorted through city streets by Paterson Police to insure traffic safety. 

Rivera lost his life in a bicycling accident on June 26, 2017, leaving behind his wife Rena, and three children, Elijah, Ezra, and Eden.
