Olyphant, P.A. - The Bloomfield High School Cheerleading Program recently attended Pine Forest Cheerleading Camp for the 15th consecutive summer. Each August the girls attend camp with 30 other teams as part of their summer practice schedule to get ready for their upcoming season. "Camp is a great opportunity for the team to get acquainted and establish a team bond," stated Bloomfield Cheer Coach Danielle Christiano.

This summer program took home with them the Leadership Award, each team at camp votes for another program that if they weren't apart of their own they'd like to join theirs. Coach Christiano stated, "It's a great honor to receive such an award because we feel we've made a great impression on others and show them that our program is truly special".

Along with the Leadership Award, four Bloomfield seniors were named All Americans; Annie Reynolds, Alyssa Carrillo, Samantha Rosamilia, and Sasha Higgs.The JV program also did an excellent job and placed in several categories during the final day of competition. "We are really looking forward to the upcoming season," said Coach Christiano.
