“I'm happy that we came up with a unique idea to still contribute to the toy drive and give our residents some sort of holiday cheer during these difficult times. I'm so proud to live in the community that rallies around each other in times of need” stated Michael Sceurman, Bloomfield’s Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs Director who also serves on Bloomfield Cruisers Executive Board.

The toys collected were donated to the Bloomfield Police Department for their annual toy drive. Bloomfield Police Department Captain George Ricci, who coordinates the toy drive, was in attendance at today's event.

“The Bloomfield Police Department would like to thank the Bloomfield Cruisers for their continued support year after year.  Their donations as well as a generous donation today from Universal Technical Institute will go a long way this year, especially during these difficult times," said Ricci

For anyone who would like to donate any new, unwrapped toys or gift cards you can bring them to the drop box located at Hot Bagels Abroad, 1129 Broad Street, Bloomfield or at the Bloomfield Police Department Youth Aid Division located at 1 Municipal Plaza, Bloomfield. All donations should be in no later than December 14th.
