BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia issued a boil water advisory following an interruption to the water supply earlier today.

In a statement, Venezia wrote: "As water pressure comes back to normal we are going to put the town on a boil water advisory. Hopefully it will only be for 24-hours while testing is performed in order to ensure that the water is safe. We will be sending out a Swift911 alert, which will be coming shortly. Please share this and get to as many people as possible. I have opened our Office Emergency Management to handle any calls from our resident. OEM phone number is 973-680-4177."
