BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia and Congressman Donald M. Payne Jr. will be hosting a virtual town hall on Thursday, May 28 at 6:00pm.

The purpose of the event will be to inform residents of the steps that the federal government is taking to combat the effects of COVID-19 and how it impacts Bloomfield. Congressman Payne has virtually attended multiple Bloomfield Council meetings over the last several months to provide updates for residents.

“I appreciate Congressman Payne taking time out of his busy schedule to take part in this virtual town hall,” said Mayor Michael Venezia. “We both share in the belief that it is important to give residents the most up to date information that we can regarding COVID-19. The Congressman has been a great partner of Bloomfield throughout this crisis and I look forward to hearing from him on Thursday.”
