Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia elected to Executive Board of NJ League of Municipalities

TRENTON, NJ - Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia was elected to the executive board of the New Jersey League of Municipalities on Thursday November 16. The NJLM represents New Jersey's 565 municipalities. 

The NJLM represents the interest and needs of New Jersey's local elected officials to county, state, and federal governments.

Honorable James L. Cassella of East Rutherford was elected President of the New Jersey State League of Municipalities. Mayor Colleen Mahr of Fanwood was elected to the position of First Vice President, and Mayors James S. Perry, Sr., and Janice Kovach of Clinton Town serve as Second and Third Vice Presidents, respectively.

The Executive Board consists of 20 mayors from across the state. Other mayors serving on the executive board include Steven Fulop of Jersey City and Ras Baraka of Newark. Members of the board were elected by their fellow mayors.
