BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The Bloomfield Police Department located a black metal pellet gun under the rear passenger seat cushion of the getaway vehicle used for Monday's gasoline station robbery.

After impounding the vehicle, the department obtained a search warrant to search for the weapon. 

On Monday evening two men held up the Shell station on Beach street. They actors fled, with Bloomfield police following. The suspects crashed into another motorist in Irvington at which time they were taken into custody and the vehicle was impounded.
