BLOOMFIELD, NJ-- The Bloomfield School District is looking to solidify its re-entry plan for September, and they have sent a survey out to be filled out for each child in the school system.  The surveys are being dispersed to the community today.  The district is looking for an answer as to how each student is committing to returning to school in September (hybrid or all virtual.)  Schedules and decisions will be based on the results.  Each school building principals will communicate more detailed information on specifics in the upcoming days. 

The district has already decided on an elementary school schedule of two groups, A and B who will alternate weeks with half day in-person learning and virtual learning Monday through Thursday with Friday being reserved for cleaning the schools.Bloomfield Middle School and Bloomfield High School will operate on a half day in-person schedule that will be divided into three groups, A, B and C.  For secondary schools the buildings will be closed on Monday and Friday for cleaning and each group will do one in-person day per week in addition to two virtual days.
