BLOOMFIELD, NJ-U.S. Senators Cory Booker and Bob Menendez stood with Bloomfield homeowner Peter Tom today at his Ferncliff Road residence to discuss the impact of the Trump Administration's tax reform plan unveiled today by House Republicans-including the elimination of middle class tax breaks for existing homeowners and the state sales income tax deductions that will potentially drive up taxes for millions of New Jersey residents.

“This tax bill is designed to hurt hardworking New Jerseyans in a state that is already hurting with taxes,” Booker said today in Bloomfield.  “This tax bill amounts to us paying even more to the federal government when we already pay our fair share, if not more when compared to other states. This is one of the greatest insults in legislation I have seen in my entire life.”
