BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Students, parents, and faculty at Oak View School returned after two snow days this week to discover the students vegetable garden was damaged by snowplows.

Reports from those on the scene state that the garden is walled in with hard packed snow. A corner of the fence was broken by the plow breaking off a part of the children's artwork. A piece of the headline surround was imbedded in the fence. 

TAPinto Bloomfield has learned that the superintendent of schools and his staff have apologized for the incident. The wall of snow will be moved and assistance has been offered to rebuild the fence.
