BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield Center Alliance's 'Cruise Night Finale' includes a parade of cars and classic movie Wednesday night on Broad Street.
The evening begins at 5:45 p.m. in the parking lot of the Brookdale ShopRite where members of the Bloomfield Cruisers will gather with his vintage and classic cars. The group will be led by officers from the Bloomfield Police Department in parade fashion along Broad Street to Bloomfield Center.
At 6 p.m, DJ Eddie will start spinning tunes at the intersection of Broad Street and Bloomfield Avenue as the evening gets underway. Broad Street will be closed from Liberty Street to Bloomfield Avenue for the entirety of the event. Music continues until the start of the drive-in movie.
At 8:15 p.m., 'American Graffiti' starring Richard Dreyfus, Cindy Williams, Mackenzie Phillips, Ron Howard, and Wolfman Jack will be shown on the big screen. Set in Modesto California on the last day of Summer vacation, the film was added to the National Film Registry in 1995. Who is that blonde in the T-bird?
Popcorn will be provide by the Bloomfield Cruisers.
