BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The Wooden Spoon is hosting 'Dueling Pianos' Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Bloomfield's restaurant row.
The duel will take place in Wooden Spoon's upstairs dining room where two pianists will compete playing the songs requested by the audience.
Guests of the Wooden Spoon will be given paper on which they'll write the songs they want the competitors to play and sing. According to piano bar lore, including a dollar or two with a request increases the chance that the song will be played.
In the event that a guest does not like a particular song, they can tell the pianist to stop playing that song by writing that request on paper and tossing it toward the piano.
Given the popularity of dueling piano events, calling to reserve a table is encouraged.
The Wooden Spoon is located at 285 Glenwood Avenue in the space formerly occupied by Senorita's. (973) 743-0099
