SUMMIT, NJ - Fresh off a 38-14 first-round playoff win over Westfield, the unbeaten Summit Eighth Grade Youth Football Team will take on Bloomfield in the Conference Championship at Investors Bank Field November 13 at 10 a.m.
The game will be a rematch of week five regular season action, which saw Summit emerge triumphant, 40-19. At stake is a berth in the New Jersey Suburban Youth Football League 'Super Bowl' against the victor in the other conference final, which pits Kenilworth against Springfield.
Summit High School freshman Justine Rainero will be performing the national anthem prior to the game. This will be the final home game of the season for the Eighth Grade team as, should they reach it, the 'Super Bowl' is set for Bloomfield November 20.
