BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield Police made a CDS arrest following a motor vehicle stop on January 3.

During a stop for an expired vehicle registration, Bloomfield police officers Glen Capito and Nelson Chamba detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Three small bag that are believed to be marijuana were discovered in the vehicle.

Patrick Brown age 34 of Irvington NJ was arrested at 12:35 p.m.and charged with possession of CDS. Brown who was also has a suspended license,was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. He was issued motor vehicle summons and released with a pending court date. is an online newspaper serving the Township of Bloomfield.
