EDISON, NJ - The Fourth Annual Pakistan Day Parade will be celebrated on Sunday, August 19th at 1:00 pm. The parade run through Oak Tree Road starting in Iselin, New Jersey and end in front of The Mall on Oak Tree Road in Edison. Last year’s parade attracted about 15,000 people from all over the tri-state area. Parade organizers expect this year’s event to be similarly successful.

The parade will celebrate Pakistani-Americans, their culture, and contributions to the United States. A traditional Pakistani breakfast will be provided for free from 11am - 1pm at the start of the parade route.

In addition to the parade festivities, famous Pakistani celebrities will be in attendance. A musical concert is slated to start at 4:30pm at the end of the parade route in Edison. Nabeel Shaukat, winner of singing show Sur Kshetra, and Komal Rizvi, popular singer, songwriter, actress, and tv show host, will be performing at the parade. Along with them, Pakistani singers Malaika Faisal and Mazhar Rahi are also appearing.

Pakistani food will be available at the food stalls. The parade will also include vibrant floats. Visitors can also purchase traditional outfits, jewelry, and more at the Desi Bazaar.
