BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Five candidates are running for three open seats on the Bloomfield Board of Education. Three of the candidates are incumbents and two are running for the first time. 

TAPinto Bloomfield interviewed each of the candidates to find out more about them as a person, their work on the board, ad their plans for the future. 

BOE president Emily Smith, Vice President Ellen Rogers, and BOE member Michael Heller are all running as incumbents. Thomas Heaney and Jessica Salinas are running for the first time.
