NUTLEY NJ – Nutley will be hosting its first ever restaurant week September 11 – 18. To kick off the event, the Nutley Farmers Market will be hosting a series of events starting Sunday morning and continuing all day.
Lynley Jones of Adventure Kitchen will lead an hour long walk through Nutley’s park system starting at 8:15 am. Picky eaters, and parents of picky eaters , are strongly encouraged to participate. During the walk, Jones will how to become an adventurous eater. Walkers will gather in Municipal Lot No. 1 at 8:15, the walk will start at 8:30.
At 9am, the Nutley Farmers’ market begins. Upon return from the walk, Jones will serve lemonade and share information with market patrons about becoming an adventurous eater. She will also offer fun activities for visitors.
From noon to 2 p.m. the Nutley Farmers’ Market and Greenutley will host the annual Nutley Food Fest. This free event gives market visitors the opportunity to discover many of Nutley’s restaurants. Participants this year include Cubanelle, Cucina 355, Gabriella's Place, Franklin Steakhouse, Krishna Indian Cuisine, Luna Wood Fire Tavern and Mamma Vittoria.
Nutley Restaurant Week starts Sunday and continues through the following Sunday. Participating restaurants include: American Bistro, Jim Dandy’s, The Bosphorus, Krishna Indian Cuisine, and Corks Corner Bar. Also participating are Luna Wood Fire Tavern, Cubanelle, Mamma Vittoria, Cucina 355, Metropolis Mexican Grill and Franklin Steakhouse. The fun continues at Old Canal Inn, Gabriella's Place, Park Pub, Jarets Stuffed Cupcakes and Ralph's Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant.
