BLOOMFIELD, NJ - A pedestrian crossing Bloomfield Ave. was struck by a motor vehicle at approximately 3:20 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, a female pedestrian was attempting to cross Bloomfield Ave in the area of 'China Taste.' She was struck by a vehicle traveling east.
The pedestrian was taken to Mountainside Hospital with a complaint of pain to her right elbow and feeling dizzy. The Pedestrian did not strike her head, nor lose consciousness at any time.
According to police, the driver of the remained on scene. The police also reported that the pedestrian was attempting to cross Bloomfield Avenue between parked cars, not in a crosswalk. PO Estelle will complete a NJTR-1(18-14649).
