BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Journalist, commentator, Bloomburg News Sustainability Editor, author and Temple Ner Tamid member Eric Roston will speak at Temple Ner Tamid on Friday, July 21 at 6.30 pm.
He will discuss: “The U.S. recently said it would leave the 195-nation Paris Agreement to fight climate change. The sensational nature of the announcement veils important context about what the treaty really is and how climate change seems to work. There are real winners and real losers as a result of the White House's action. Come to find out who, and why.”
This presentation is a continuation of Temple Ner Tamid's summer-long series of members and leaders addressing the community on issues of political, social and religious significance.
The Shabbat service will be led by Cantorial Assistant Ronni Pressman and her husband, Fred Pressman. A light nosh will precede the service at 6pm.
The community is invited to attend.
Mark your calendar for July 28- there will be no speaker following services - but bring your own dairy/vegetarian Pot Luck Dinner will
follow the short lay-led service.
