BLOOMFIELD NJ - Temple Ner Tamid Bloomfield is hosting an informal, family-friendly reception Sunday August 28th from 3pm to 5pm. The event will be held at a member’s home and will include the membership committee, clergy, and religious school staff. , Temple Ner Tamid is affiliated with the Reform Movement and its culture reflects a unique blending of liberal values and traditional expression.
The Temple's diverse congregation of Jewish and Interfaith families strives to create, sustain and strengthen Jewish unity and community through personal involvement; embraces the values of lifelong learning (from Shoresh Pre-School to the Religious School right through high school, to lectures for all ages); has inclusive, participatory and inspiring services led by Rabbi Steven Kushner and Cantor Meredith Greenberg; and has a strong commitment to social action and repairing the world or tikun olam.
Board members and congregants will also be at the casual Sunday afternoon reception to answer questions and welcome those interested in learning more about what makes TNT so special. The informal, family-friendly event is a great way for individuals and/or families to come and learn about the offerings at the Temple.
The congregation is home to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds who live in Bloomfield, Montclair, Nutley, Belleville, Glen Ridge, Clifton, Woodland Park, Verona, Cedar Grove, Little Falls, West Orange and all the surrounding communities.
