After a very exciting 2017 NFL Draft weekend, the New York Jets are proud to announce their 9 newest members of this year's draft class:
Round 1, pick 6, Safety Jamal Adams of LSU. More on him later this week.
Round 2, Safety Marcus Maye of Florida. Todd Bowles on Maye, "One of the best players on the board in the second round."
Round 3, Wide Receiver ArDarius Stewart, Alabama.
Round 4, WR Chad Hansen, California. Bowles claimed he was a "good route runner."
Round 5, Tight End Jordan Leggett, Clemson.
Round 5, Defensive Line, Dylan Donahue, first player from West Georgia to ever be drafted into the NFL.
Round 6, RB Elijah McGuire, Louisiana-Lafayette.
Round 6, CB Jeremy Clark, Michigan.
Round 6, CB Derrick Jones, Ole Miss.
The picks show, as Todd Bowles was quoted, "We brought in a lot of toughness."
In the next few days I'll cover each pick with some highlights from live interviews with Todd Bowles and Mike Maccagnan.
It appears the team is rebuilding, The season ticket prices have remained the same price as last year. A large group of season ticket holders met with the New York Jets back in April at the 2017 Jets Fan Advisory Board. A select group of Season Ticket Holders were given the opportunity to discuss improvements to the Gameday Experience as well as how to build better Media Relations and Season Ticket Holder Benefits. The New York Jets will review all the suggestions and hopefully put some into action for the 2017 season.
