NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Police Captain Sean Schwindt, Fire Department Deputy Chief Lou Venezia and Senior Clerk Michele Borges have all recently completed the challenging CPM program through Rutgers University. The New Jersey Certified Public Manager Program is designed to develop public sector managers, administrators, and supervisors into efficient, effective, and ethical organizational leaders.

"The program requires 300 hours of study over a 10 month period and completion of a project that benefits the participant's agency" said Jane Sharp, MPA of Rutgers. The three employees, with over 40 combined years of employment in the Township, have demonstrated a commitment to their profession and community.

Public Safety Director Samuel DeMaio had nothing but praise for Schwindt and Venezia. "The graduation represents the new and more accountable supervision that is demanded of our supervisors in public safety".
