BLOOMFIELD, NJ-- Although the warnings were there prior to the storm's arrival, it's difficult to prepare for the devastation left behind in Tropical Storm Isaias' wake throughout Bloomfield.

The entire town saw large trees fall along with electrical, cable and phone wires. Reports of trees down on Broughton Avenue, JFK Drive, East Passaic Ave and many other streets have made traveling through town very difficult. Many other streets are closed due to power outages effecting traffic lights. Public Safety crews can be seen throughout town responding to storm related calls.

In addition to the strong winds and heavy rain, some parts of New Jersey experienced tornadoes touching down. While it appears that the worst of the storm is behind us, the cleanup may take a few days.
