BLOOMFIELD, NJ - New Jersey Bike and Walk Coalition’s Let’s Walk program is partnering with The Morris Canal Greenway Committee and the Bloomfield Health Department for a guided walk on Saturday September 30 at 9 a.m.

The wallk, along a section of the canal that passes through Bloomfield, will be led by Rich Rockwell of the Bloomfield Historical Society. Rockwell will be telling the history of the canal pointing out historical landmarks along the route.

The route is approximately three miles and will take about an hour. Everyone is invited to join but is reminded to wear comfortable shoes and not that some of the surfaces are not paved.

The walk will start in the Wrights Field Parking Lot, 180 Baldwin Place, Bloomfield NJ. The lot is located at the corner of Baldwin Place and Brighton Avenue.
