Dancing for Balanchine

Through her first hand accounts, this lecture will frame and contextualize Balanchine's life and career in terms of his genius but also his patriarchal relationship to the female members of his company. Prof. McPherson co-wrote a book titled 
Balanchine, Broadway, and Beyond: A Memoir with the former New York City Ballet dancer Bettijane Sills.
