BLOOMFIELD, NJ-- Acting Executive Director James Carey announced that there were 645,648 tickets purchased state-wide for the NJ Lottery Cash 5 drawing on February 3rd.  Of those tickets, two of them beat astronomical odds and the winners will split $669,456.00.  One winning ticket was sold at Bloomfield Pipe & Convenience located at 556 Bloomfield Avenue in Bloomfield.  The winner, who wasn't named by the shop owner, Dilep Patel, was described as a frequent customer of the Bloomfield Pipe Shop. "I have much happiness for the winner," said Patel. 

The other winning ticket was sold at Welsh Farms Food Store, 752 Hamilton St., Somerset. In addition to the grand prize winners, for correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 106 ticketholders won $513 each and 18 others won $1,026 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 4,013 ticketholders won $15 each and 690 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 8,432 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
