And who do you think they be?

We’re hoping they’ll soon be some of our furry friends at the Montclair Township Animal Shelter.

The Montclair Rotary Club and Trumpets Jazz Club and Restaurant present: the “Jazz Bash by Jazz Cats”  – a benefit to raise funds for a much-needed bathing tub for our furry friends in the Montclair Township Animal Shelter. The event will take place Sunday, June 2, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Trumpets Jazz Club, 6 Depot Square (on the corner of Walnut Street). Entrance tickets are $20 plus a minimum purchase of $12 for food and drinks.

Proceeds will go towards purchasing a permanent high-quality stainless steel bathing tub. The Shelter needs to raise $6,200 dollars for this type of tub, to safely care for pets of all sizes. The Animal Shelter’s current bath is rusted and leaks.

“Our pets desperately need a professional grooming tub for basic bathing, especially when they enter the Shelter from a condition of long-term neglect,” said Shelter Director Liz Morgan. “It will also allow for dedicated baths for skin ailments and infestations, and will enable us to reduce the use of systemic antibiotics.”

Come eat, drink and be merry to the sounds of great music by Trumpets’ artists Enrico Granafei, Kristine Massari, Yashmin Charnet-Abler, Lula Valdivia and many more.

Event seating is limited. Purchase tickets here.
