“A vital component of modern-day fundraising is providing convenient, secure and easy-to-use online donation tools, and it was essential that the Foundation’s new website offer supporters giving options for a variety of online banking and connected device preferences,” said Mollie Smith, President and co-founder of the Foundation. “We’re thrilled to be able to provide our community with simple and direct means to support the Bloomfield Public Library in time for the end-of-year giving season.”

The Bloomfield Public Library Foundation was established in 2018 to secure and manage donations from individuals, businesses and private foundations that believe in the life-changing power of the Library and understand that the best way to address the growing needs of the  community is to provide it with support above and beyond municipal budget constraints.

“The Bloomfield Library is delighted and humbled by the support of the Bloomfield Library Foundation,” said Library Director Holly Belli. “With more and more residents taking advantage of all their Library has to offer, continued support is crucial to helping us achieve our mission. We thank everyone involved on this Giving Tuesday for supporting the gifts of literacy, discovery and accessibility the Bloomfield Library strives to offer.”
