BLOOMFIELD, NJ – TAPinto Bloomfield, the only independent news operation dedicated solely to covering Bloomfield, set a single-month record for readership in March.
The over 500% increase in page views from February is directly attributed to the news site’s COVID-19 coverage, as we continue to coordinate daily news reporting of how the virus is affecting Bloomfield community.
In February, TAPinto Bloomfield had 18,749 individual users who visited the site. The number of readers spiked to 78,725 in March, making the news site one of the most read among the entire TAPinto news network of more than 80 hyperlocal sites in three states.
Moreover, TAPinto Bloomfield also shattered its own record for page views. In February, the news site had 35,916 page views. In March, that number jumped to 185,637, a 517% increase.
