BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Free lead testing kits will be available to Bloomfield residents from the Bloomfield Department of Health as well as at the Monday August 19 public forum.

Residents are encouraged to schedule a pick-up of a free lead testing kit through the Bloomfield Health Department. Sources of lead in the water can be due to installations of lead pipes, fittings, and valves in homes built prior to 1986. If your home was built before 1986 and you wish to have your water tested for lead, please call 973-680-4024.

These free lead testing kits will also be available at Monday's public forum. The public forum will take place on August 19 at 6:00 PM at the Civic Center located at 84 Broad St.
