BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The Bloomfield Fire Department is currently seeking input from Bloomfield residents on the new three year strategic plan that the department is in the process of developing. Residents are invited to attend the stakeholders meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Mayor’s Conference Room of the Law Enforcement Building at 1 Municipal Plaza.
“It is so important to us that residents are informed of the decisions happening in Bloomfield,” said Mayor Michael Venezia. “Our Fire Department will remain at the forefront of providing the best emergency services to our community. To help us develop this plan we ask the residents for their concerns and expectations.”
“Our fire department works hard everyday to protect Bloomfield residents,” said Fire Chief Louis Venezia. “In order to help us identify and prioritize public safety related issues and concerns of the community, we are seeking their input.”
The new strategic plan will help guide the department for the next 3-5 years. It will also translate the department’s mission and values into reachable goals and objectives.
