MONTCLAIR, NJ - A traffic advisory hasbeen issued for the Bloomfield Avenue bridge project.
On Friday, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials announced Bloomfield Avenue westbound will be closed and detoured for utility work as the Bloomfield Avenue/CR 506 Bridge over NJ TRANSIT project advances in Montclair.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 3, until 8:30 p.m., and continuing most days, Monday through Friday, for about six weeks, PSE&G is scheduled to close Bloomfield Avenue westbound for utility work underneath the roadway. Eastbound traffic will be unaffected.
Bloomfield Avenue westbound detour
- Bloomfield Avenue westbound traffic will be directed to turn right on Highland Avenue
- Turn left onto Glenridge Avenue
- Turn left onto Pine Street
- Turn right onto Bloomfield Avenue westbound
Motorists are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
