Tice was 120 for 247 in passing attempts, with 1,839 yards and 20 touchdowns in 10 games.  Robinson, Tices’ favorite target, caught 46 passes for over 800 yards and 7 touchdowns.

“It’s great to receive accolades that show hard work paying off,” Tice added.

Tice will play baseball again for the Bengals this spring.  He recently committed to play football next year at The College of New Jersey, where he plans to be a criminal justice major.

Meanwhile, Robinson returns to the boys basketball team this winter as the only varsity starter from last season.

First Team Defense honors go to senior linebacker Andrew Terc and senior defensive back Brandon Holt.

Second Team Offense honors go to senior running back Joe Orsita and senior outside linebacker Xavier Gulley.

Orsita rushed 127 times for 637 yards and 5 touchdowns.  Gulley returns to the mat this winter for the Bengals wrestling team, where he represented Bloomfield at 285-pounds in the Region 3 Tournament and District 9 Tournament last year.

Senior defensive end Dylan Coury was named Second Team Defense, while Honorable Mention goes to senior defensive back Alex Daleus.

Bloomfield finished at 4-6 overall and 2-3 in the Super Essex Conference, Liberty Blue Division.  They closed the season on a high note with a gutsy, come-from-behind victory over J.P. Stevens 37-28 in a NJSIAA consolation game November 1 in Edison.  They won 2 of their final 3 games.
